Morning Glass Café is a small café located in Manoa next to the marketplace. It is a cozy and very popular place to be. The parking lot in the front is small and during the week can get full with patrons of the neighboring businesses. Inside the café there is very limited seating and you must place an order before sitting down. This is not a place for big groups to meet up. There is a wait for orders no matter the crowd as they do take their time to ensure the quality of the brews and kitchen items. I was able to try a latte as well as a green tea latte, both of which were full of flavor yet not overpowering. Both had an option either iced or hot, I opted for the hot. They even do latte art on their products which was a nice artistic touch. The latte’s came out piping hot as they were freshly made giving me and my sister plenty of time to talk as we took our time enjoying them. At Morning Glass, they serve mainly breakfast and lunch with baked goods and are known for a specialty Mac and Cheese pancake. Here they use local Hawaiian coffees and home brews to go along with homemade foods. Many people here were either reading a book or deep in conversation with others. There is also ample seating outside to enjoy the day when it is not during Manoa’s rainy season. This café is open air so it can get warm due to the small tight size. The staff was very helpful and cheerfully conversed with all patrons ordering and sitting down. They use local Hawaiian coffees and home brews to go along with homemade foods. I did not feel that the lattes here stood out compared to other places that I have been to. It seems that this place is mainly for the atmosphere and the food and drink to compliment it. I still would recommend for those that reside within the neighborhood to try it out as it is very close to town and the University campus. Those that are coffee fanatics may not be impressed by the brews here. If you are planning on stopping by I would recommend checking out their social media, either their website or Facebook, Instagram etc.
