The Manifest is a coffee shop and bar is located in downtown located near Hawaii PacificUniversity. The establishment has a range of different drinks for their alcohol and coffees. When you first walk into the coffee shop, it’s brick walls all around, and with rustic decor. The first bar in the front has a wall of different assortments of alcohol. The alcohol menu is located right above that wall; the cost ranges from four up to seventy dollars so don't forget your IDs if you want a drink. The front of the establishment has about six tables located near the entrance and has a dance floor when walking more into it. The Manifest has different performances here once a month and has quiz night at the beginning of the month as well. Every month or so, they put up paintings by one artist and then change to showcase a different artist. The artwork on the wall in the front is either a quote by the artist for that month or painting. The establishment
has three distinct areas to get drinks for night time. During the day, only the first room is open for service. The two back rooms are about the same size as the room in the front. Whenever, I’ve been there I’ve seen the same barista there for the past few times visiting, and she is delightful. She’s nice, and will talk with the customers that choose to sit at the bar. The good news, if you guys don’t want to use your card, they have an atm that is located in the front next to the bar. My friends and I usually arrive at The Manifest at around noon on Saturdays and Sundays. The coffee shop is not too busy, but not empty either during those times. They have a separate small menu for their coffee, but they also serve different teas. My go to order is the iced hapa mocha and served in a tall glass cup. This coffee cost four dollars but is worth it. The hapa mocha is more on the sweeter side, but without losing the caffeine that coffee lovers crave. This drink is not meant to be drank quickly because the caffeine will be a bit
overwhelming. Another favorite of mine is the dirty chai; this is one of the drinks that one of my friends had recommended. With his recommendation, I tried it, and it was good if you enjoy a strong spice taste. It has a strong cinnamon taste, but it's enjoyable. Also, often different students from the universities and community colleges are drinking the coffee and doing their work. The Manifest has many wall plugs, and with the calm atmosphere, it's easy to get work completed here. My friend and I will often be here from noon until seven at night just getting our work done. This place is perfect for those who enjoy a nice quiet coffee place during the day, but at night who want to have fun at night.
